How do you see the world? We see the world as a vision of the future: A future with access to free optometry for all. But in a very literal sense, about 75% of adults have trouble “seeing the world,” as they use some type of vision correction, and 12 million people ages 40+ in the United States have vision impairment, including 8 million who have vision impairment due to uncorrected refractive error.
This summer, we have been on a mission to raise $50,000 for eyecare services.
So far, this mission has been going well, and we are excited to announce that our once-a-week optometry appointments are now available twice a week- every Thursday and Friday- allowing for greater capacity to serve those in need of eyecare from one of our most popular services.
